When do sign-ups begin?
Fall season registration will be open July 1, 2020. Returning players from the 2019 Fall have until July 30, 2020 to register to be placed back on the same team. All other requests will be based on registration date.

I've registered my son/Daughter. What happens next?

If you've registered and paid on-line via credit card, your child will be assigned to a team when our club registrar starts creating teams beginning of August. PLEASE NOTE: If you've registered but elected to pay by check, we will not assign your player to a team roster until we receive your payment. We obviously encourage you to pay promptly. Once your child is assigned to a team, we will deliver a copy of that team's roster to the coach at our Coach Meeting the third week of July. Coaches then make contact with families and typically organize practices to start the first week of August.

When does the regular season start?

Practice times and start dates vary depending on your team. Due to the Covid-19 the logistics of how this will look/work are still being ironed out

Where are games played?

Your player's coach will inform you of game location(s) and the season schedule. Generally, we use Lincoln Elementary, VSAA, Jason Lee, and Luke Jensen. Although playing away games can take you as far as East as Camas and North as Longview.

How do I register?
For accuracy of player information, we offer on-line registration. Registration is not considered complete until payment has been received and posted to your account, and we have verified that we have received a state issued birth certificate or current passport to prove date of birth. Registration is initiated online. Please click on the Registration info to find the link to register to get started once registration is open.

I changed my mind, can I get a refund?
Yes, as long as you request a refund before August 1, 2020. Exception: doctor's note stating player cannot play for the season or if you have moved out of the area. There is a $10 service fee for all refunds.

When will I know what team my child is on?
We start forming teams in August, and will have rosters to coaches end of August. If you do not hear from a coach by September, contact Rachelle Beatty at [email protected]

Is my child old enough to play soccer?
For the Fall season, the player must turn four years old on or before December 31, 2020.

Does my child have to try-out?
Tryouts are not part of the recreational soccer program. Try-outs are held for players age 9 and older wishing to play at an advanced level of competition. These teams are Advanced Competition teams and only play other Advanced Competition teams. All other teams are recreational teams, players are assigned based on last year's team, team request, and sign-up date.

Spring Season Update - Canceled

Spring League Update 04/09/20
First and foremost, we wish you all health and safety amidst these extreme challenges.

Over the past few weeks SWYSA and the partner clubs have been reviewing the possibility of having some form of a Spring 2020 season.

With the extended “Stay at Home” order, the closure of the schools and the social distancing guidelines in place, SWYSA has decided to cancel the spring season.

We know this will be a great disappointment to many of our soccer families. We understand and hope to get us all back on the field soon.

Please check your email for communication from the club regarding the spring registration fee refund process.

Our Staff and Coaches are working toward putting together options for player engagement and virtual training for the Spring and Summer. Details will be provided soon.

Stay safe and we hope to see everyone soon.
